The Goddess of the Loom
The Fates look down on mortals,
not wanting to show their treasure.
A girl with long brown hair is theirs to hide.
Her skill is wonderful beyong measure,
the Fates sit still and abide.
Her beautiful eyes are keen to weaving and looming,
and the sea she weaves is powerful and booming.
She spins an endless tale of golden thread,
then she will add silver, blue, green, and red.
The girl weaves a man upon the frame,
a human she desires.
The figure is tall and sraight,
a man that is required.
Her memory of thier meeting makes her happy as can be.
She loves him with all her heart,
and she tells the Fates wit
